Compact Design, Digital Security: DroneCAN Power Solution

The CUAV CAN PMU Lite is an intelligent power module developed for mid-sized UAV systems and professional drone projects. It completely eliminates incorrect voltage/current readings caused by electromagnetic interference (EMI), which is the biggest problem with classic analog power modules, by processing data digitally and transmitting it via the DroneCAN bus. This ensures that your autopilot always monitors the battery status with the highest accuracy, and "Failsafe" mechanisms work flawlessly.

CAN PMU Lite Highlighted Features

  • DroneCAN (UAVCAN) Protocol: Since it transmits data digitally, it is not affected by cable length or magnetic noise generated by motors. It is fully compatible with Pixhawk V6X, Nora, and other modern autopilots.

  • High-Precision Measurement: Thanks to its built-in processor, it analyzes voltage and current data instantly. It reports voltage drops that occur near battery depletion with millimeter precision.

  • Lightweight and Compact Structure: As an advantage of the "Lite" series, it can be easily mounted even in frames with limited space without taking up much room. It minimizes total weight, contributing to flight time.

  • Wide Voltage Range: Supports battery systems between 10V and 62V (3S - 14S LiPo). It is versatile for both small drones and medium-sized industrial platforms.

  • 80A Continuous Current Capacity: With an 80 Ampere continuous current carrying capacity, it provides more than sufficient power for standard multicopter and fixed-wing UAV setups.
